The CHALLENGE Race Series

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Titus Mountain Race Challenge Series is a season-long program designed to create a competitive race course environment for those skiers and boarders who wish to put their skills to the test against all other skiers and boarders in their own age/gender bracket. Participants are permitted two runs each race; the best run of two will count for the competition. Skiers and boarders of all ages are encouraged to participate. Racing takes place on Chair 1; race courses are set on either the Sunset or Whistler trails. Depending on snow conditions, two Giant Slalom races are conducted for every Slalom race. During the course of a season, participants can anticipate racing in 8-9 Giant Slalom races and 3-4 Slalom races. After each race, an award ceremony is conducted at 3:45 on the Patio area outside the Lodge. All participants under the age of 18 will receive an award.

PREREQUISITES
Pre-registration is mandatory. Registration is conducted at the Ski School Desk. Racers are encouraged to register and pay for the full season. Racers who register to race for the day are asked to provide the Race Starter with their paid receipt from the Ski School Desk.
